De La Salle University contributes to the Lasallian effort of planting and nurturing one million native/endemic/indigenous species of trees in various areas in the country.

The major sites for the activity are: Mt. Palaypalay, Cavite and Ilin, San Jose, Mindoro for native trees; and Talim Bay, Lian, Batangas and Orion, Bataan for mangroves. Additional sites include Salikneta Karahume, Bagac, Malabanban, Lake Caliraya, Canlubang, UP-Diliman, and CVSU.
